Water – Learn it! Live it! is a comprehensive water education and accreditation program developed by Melbourne’s State Government owned water businesses (City West Water, South East Water, Yarra Valley Water and Melbourne Water).

The program helps schools actively implement water conservation and water education across the curriculum, with the aim of making a positive change in students’ and teachers’ knowledge, attitudes and behaviour towards water. 

Correlated to the objectives of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards, the Water – Learn it! Live it! program is easily integrated into the classroom. It enables schools to tailor and develop the program to engage students and the school community in water conservation and education.

Water: Learn It! Live It!is available to all primary and secondary schools within Metropolitan Melbourne. It has also been adopted by the majority of regional Water Corporations as a resource to support their individual education programs.
