Rosters and restrictions on diversions from unregulated streams.
At the end of September, diversions from a total of 121 unregulated streams and lakes across the state were subject to restrictions. This is higher than the same time last year when 112 streams were on restriction.
- In northern Victoria, Goulburn-Murray Water removed restrictions on two streams in the Goulburn and Mitta basins.
- Bans on diversions from all unregulated streams in the GWMWater region remained in force.
- In southern Victoria, Southern Rural Water removed restrictions on four streams in the Gippsland zone, while restrictions on Valencia Creek were increased to an irrigation ban.
- Melbourne Water removed restrictions on all streams except Pauls Creek.
