Draft Strategy
The Draft Strategy was released in April 2006. The Draft Strategy identified water resource management issues and considers a range of regional and local proposals to secure water for the future. Priority was given in the draft strategy to conserving water and demonstrating its efficient use before considering alternative supplies and additional augmentations.

Discussion Paper
The Discussion Paper was released in October 2005 and was the first step towards developing a long-term regional plan for water security in the Central Region of Victoria.
Environmental Flow Studies
To assess the environmental needs of our rivers, independent scientific studies on environmental water requirements have been completed. Current studies associated with the Central Sustainable Water Strategy can be accessed through River Health.
