Gippsland Region SWS discussion paper submissions are now online

The formal submission period for the Gippsland Region Sustainable Water Strategy Discussion Paper has ended, with more than 70 submissions received.

Local farmers, interest groups and individuals are among many people who have provided feedback in the first phase of the Victorian Government’s long-term water strategy for Gippsland.

Every submission is currently being considered and reviewed to assist in the preparation of the Draft Gippsland Region Sustainable Water Strategy.

A second consultation period will follow the release of a draft Strategy in late 2009. The final strategy is expected to be released in early 2010.
